Linn County commissioners approve $2.44M Cox Creek Bridge contract in Millersburg

ALBANY, Ore. — At their June 9 meeting, Linn County Commissioners Roger Nyquist, Sherrie Sprenger and Will Tucker approved a contract for $2,441,679.20 with Legacy Contracting of Stayton for the Cox Creek (Waverly) Drive Bridge Project in Millersburg.

The project will be administered by the Linn County Road Department and is scheduled to start on June 15. Some 89.73% of the cost will be funded through ODOT’s Local Agency Certification Program and the City of Millersburg will contribute 10.27%.

According to the City of Millersburg, Waverly Drive is the sole access route into Talking Waters Garden, the Simpson Park parking lot and access to Portland & Western railroad yard.
