Its been more than four years since plans for a splash pad in Ford City Park were announced, but it looks like children are finally going to have a fun place to cool off after many delays.
Its been a long wait since the pad was first announced in May of 2022 by then-Supervisor Zack Scrivner and there have been multiple delays, but the splash pad was tested on Tuesday and it worked just fine.
County parks officials conducting the tests and said its on track for a mid-June opening…
