As drought persists, federal officials urge Nebraska farmers to meet July 15 reporting deadline

LINCOLN, Neb. – Recent drought conditions are continuing to hit Nebraska agriculture hard, putting a heavy financial strain on local farmers and ranchers.

To help producers navigate recovery, the U.S. Department of Agriculture is partnering with the University of Nebraska-Lincoln for a free webinar explaining available federal disaster programs.
