NYPD officer arrested, charged for attempted murder of Bronx man in Kingsbridge

An NYPD officer has been arrested and charged for the attempted murder of a Bronx man.

The Bronx District Attorney confirms that off-duty officer, Jonathan Baez, is facing many charges including attempted murder, assault and kidnapping.

According to the indictment, back on March 16 in front of 167West 231st Street, Baez allegedly approached a 30-year-old man in search of his stolen car. Baez pointed his firearm at the man, ordered him to the ground and straddled him with the gun pointed at the man’s back…
