Displaced Clovis family seeks help for dog injured in fire

CLOVIS, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – A family whose life changed in an instant after their home caught on fire on Wednesday is now asking for help after one of their dogs was left fighting for her life.

On Wednesday at around 10 a.m., firefighters responded to an apartment complex in the 2900 block of Peach Avenue, near Peach and Gettysburg avenues.

When crews arrived, they discovered a fire in the kitchen and found two dogs. Crews jumped into action and grabbed the two dogs from the apartment.

No one was in the apartment at the time, but one of the dogs that was rescued is currently fighting for her life…
