Rain and storm chances will be picking up over the next few days as a series of cold fronts make progress into north Alabama. Heavy downpours could contribute to more flooding and while widespread severe weather isn’t likely, isolated stronger storms could produced some localized damaging wind gusts.
For tonight we’ll be quiet with generally clear skies and muggy conditions. Lows will be in the low to mid 70s.
Friday will bring a round of showers and storms, most likely sometime during the afternoon hours. Before any rain moves in temperatures will heat into the low 90s and it will again feel close to 100 with the humidity…
