People get first look at Madison Public Market

MADISON, Wis. — People got their first look inside the Madison Public Market on Wednesday during the first pop-up in a series of events prior to the building’s grand opening.

“We know people are eager to get a look inside the new Madison Public Market and we’ve been working furiously to finish up the last details,” said Keisha Harrison, MPM CEO, in a release. We’re really excited to start showing off what the market is about!”

If you missed the first pop-up, you’ll still get plenty of chances to get a glimpse inside. The market, located at 202 N. First Street, is hosting a preview series from June 10-July 1 every Wednesday from 3:30 to 7 p.m.

Those who attend will find a variety of vendors, from local farmers and producers, as well as some other makers inside the TrueStage MarketReady Hall, which is now open. Vendors that are interested in selling at the pop-ups can fill out the form online…
