Madison Fire Dept. responded to dozens of calls for downed power lines, trees Wednesday

MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) – Madison Fire Department responded to more than 60 calls during the height of the storms on Wednesday, especially for downed power lines.

MFD provided a summary of calls crews responded to Wednesday, the majority of which were between 1:50-4 p.m.

Starting with a power line down at 1:54 p.m. on Russett Road, MFD chronicled its day ending with a tree that fell down and took down power lines of a backyard at 7:41 p.m. on S. Eau Claire Avenue…
