Ex-Turkey Leg Hut owner pleads guilty to arson, admits to role in firebombing of rival business

The former owner of the Turkey Leg Hut, once one of the most popular restaurants in Houston, on Thursday pleaded guilty to federal arson charges more than a year after he was accused of organizing the firebombing of a rival business.

Lyndell “Lynn” Price, 44, pleaded guilty of a charge of conspiracy to commit arson Thursday morning.

In April 2025, Price was arrested and accused of planning a 2020 arson at Bar 5015, a Third Ward bar owned by a former Turkey Leg Hut business partner. Four other men who allegedly worked for Price were also arrested and accused of setting the fire…
