Clovis Mayor Vong Mouanoutoua announced Friday that he will run for Fresno County Board of Supervisors District 5, drawing support from a coalition of local elected officials, education leaders, business advocates, and community members.
Among those endorsing Mouanoutoua was Fresno Mayor Jerry Dyer, who called him “a unifier” and said he “places people above politics” and “above party.”
“Vong does the right thing for the right reason, not just some of the time, but all of the time,” Dyer said.
