Mobile city officials confirm they are receiving complaints about privately funded National Pride Month banners displayed on city poles along Water Street. A local pastor is also raising concerns about Visit Mobile promoting Pride Month on its online platforms.
Both the City of Mobile and the head of Visit Mobile say they are not taking political positions or promoting the LGBTQ movement.
