MADISON (WLUK) — Making its second trip to the state tournament New Holstein was hoping to improve on its 2022 state runner-up finish, but Friday the Huskies just didn’t have it.
New Holstein ran into two double plays, allowed some pop-ups to drop, fell behind in the first inning and never recovered as Lodi topped New Holstein 7-3 in a Division 3 state semifinal at Goodman Diamond.
