A hearing has been postponed to Dec. 1 to determine whether a boy charged with murder should be tried as an adult in connection with the deaths of two people whose bodies were found outside of Oakridge.
Three teenagers — two under 18 — were arrested in Eugene May 21, 2025, by the Lane County Sheriff’s Office in the deaths of 17-year-old Maleah Michael Lewis and 21-year-old Noah Christopher Wall.
Lewis “died as a result of a homicide by a gunshot wound to [the] head,” according to a court filing in her estate case that describes her as living in foster care at the time of her death. The sheriff’s office has declined to release information about the deaths of Lewis and Wall, except to say they died as the result of “homicidal violence.”…
