Las Vegas Double Homicide Case Moves Forward as Suspect Enters Not Guilty Plea

The man accused of killing a woman and a toddler during an alleged attempted carjacking in Las Vegas has pleaded not guilty, according to court records.

Ziaire Ham, 22, appeared in court Thursday, June 11, where he entered not-guilty pleas to all charges. Prosecutors have filed 11 charges against Ham, including two counts of murder with the use of a deadly weapon and nine counts of discharging a firearm at or into an occupied structure or vehicle.

Shooting Incident

The charges stem from a shooting that occurred on March 2 at approximately 9 p.m. in the 1100 block of Victoria Medici Street, near Starr Avenue and Dean Martin Drive.
