Georgia’s run at the College World Series got off to a perfect start after dominating Texas en route to a 7-1 victory Saturday night. This win sent Georgia to the winner’s bracket where they will face a hot Oklahoma team on Monday night.
Up to this point Georgia has had to endure a gauntlet in the NCAA Tournament that featured multiple teams that many fans believed could win the National Championship. They have survived every test so far, but it was time Georgia got a good draw in their journey to win a National Championship.
And getting to play Oklahoma is the dream scenario that Georgia fans were praying for entering the College World Series.
