The Wisconsin Badgers have landed a commitment from Minnesota center Jack Thelen, he announced on Saturday.
Thelen, a 7’1, 240-pound center who attends Maple Grove High School, was recently on a visit to Madison, where the Badgers pulled the trigger on an offer. The Minnesota native quickly pounced on that, committing days after to the program.
He becomes the second commitment in the 2027 class for Wisconsin, joining heralded four-star guard Jalen Brown, who committed to the Badgers earlier this month. Prior to the Wisconsin offer, the center had offers from Murray State, Miami (OH), and Montana…
