LAS VEGAS (KLAS) – According to AAA, the average price for regular gas in Las Vegas is around $4.93 on Sunday, down 10 cents from a week prior. It’s part of a broader trend for gas prices declining across the country, entering its third week of decreasing prices nationally.
The steady decline brings the average price for regular gas below the five-dollar mark for Las Vegas drivers.
“It helps tremendously. Especially this truck takes a lot of gas,” said Jose Tobar, who commutes around town a lot due to his job as a plumber. Tobar said the highest he paid for gas was $5.59 a gallon a few weeks ago. “I’ve noticed it’s gone down a couple cents. It’s no longer above 5 in some locations. It’s now looking like some locations before it used to, like 4 dollars 70 cents depending on cash and card.”…
