KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) — Remote Area Medical plans to hold several pop-up clinics in Knoxville and Del Rio over the week, offering free medical care to people in need.
These clinics are medical only and won’t provide vision or dental care. At the nonprofit’s Mobile Telehealth Unit, patients will be able to speak to a doctor alongside an in-person nurse, RAM said.

RAM plans to hold clinics at these locations:

- 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
- Sustainable Future Center

- 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.
- Church Street United Methodist Church
- Thursday, June 18
- 900 Henley Street, Knoxville, TN 37902
- 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.
- Del Rio
- Thursday, June 18
- 480 S Highway 107, Del Rio, TN 37727
- 1 p.m. – 4 p.m.
People can get services like second opinions on diagnoses, medication refills, blood sugar/diabetes education and evaluations and prescriptions for common ailments such as colds flu, sinus infections, UTIs and more.
The clinics are first-come-first served, and patients to not need IDs or insurance. People can call 865-579-1530 or visit RAM’s website to donate, volunteer, or get more information.
