(WHTM) – Longtime Midstate journalist and Lancaster County native Barbara Barr is the newest member of the abc27 News team.
A J.P. McCaskey High School graduate, Barbara has covered the region for two decades, covering news and sports in her hometown. She previously worked in Bangor, Maine; Boston, Massachusetts; and Scranton, Pennsylvania.
In Pennsylvania, she has covered both the Jerry Sandusky and Bill Cosby trials, and earned a Pennsylvania Commendation Medal for coverage of the Pa. Air National Guard’s role in the Wars in Iraq and Afghanistan…
