Skeletal remains identified as missing York County man, coroner says

YORK COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM) — Skeletal remains found earlier this month in a wooded area have been identified as a missing man.

The York County Coroner’s Office on Monday identified the remains as a 37-year-old Hanover Borough man who was reported missing by his family in May 2025. His cause of death is asphyxia, and the manner was ruled a suicide.
