LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – A local Marine veteran reached out to thank two officers who intervened during a mental health crisis on the Madison Bridge last July.
Stephen Schlatterer, a Desert Storm veteran, contacted the newsroom to express gratitude to the two officers who talked him down from the Madison Bridge on July 3, 2025.
