MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — United Cerebral Palsy of Mobile has added to the fully accessible playground with a fully accessible splash pad.

According to a UCP of Mobile news release, the new splash pad opened June 10 next to the accessible playground at 3058 Dauphin Square Connector. The splash pad offers an inclusive place where “individuals of all abilities can play, cool off, and enjoy the benefits of outdoor recreation.”
The splash pad will also be used by those in UCP’s Inclusive Preschool and Adult Day Program, as well as families in UCP’s other programs and services for children and adults with disabilities…
