Cumulus Media has hired veteran programmer and air personality Bill Fox as Operations Manager for its Toledo/Monroe cluster, giving him oversight of the market’s programming strategy while adding two additional roles within the company.
In addition to leading operations for the cluster, Fox has been named Program Director for country “K100” WKKO-FM and will join the morning show lineup as co-host on classic hits outlet WRQN (93.5).
Fox most recently worked on-air at classic country Saga Communications WSIG in Harrisonburg, VA (96.9). His resume also includes serving as Program Director for Midwest Communications country “104.9 The Wolf” WXCL and AC station “Mix 106.9” WSWT in Wausau, WI, as well as Brand Manager and afternoon host at country WDEZ. Earlier in his career, he held morning positions at stations including Press Communications classic rock “Boss 107.1” WWZY in Monmouth-Ocean, NJ, Townsquare Media country “The Big 97.5” WOKQ in Portsmouth, NH, Pamal Broadcasting AC “B95.5” WYJB in Albany, NY, and Binnie Media classic hits “107.5 Frank FM” WFNK in Portland, ME…
