Man arrested for allegedly threatening library patrons with knife

EUGENE, Ore. — A 33-year-old man who was sought by police in connection with an incident earlier this month at the Eugene Public Library in which he allegedly swung a knife while behaving in a disorderly manner was arrested on Friday, according to the Eugene Police Department.

EPD officials said multiple community members and the Springfield Police Department helped to identify and locate suspect Jarrod Brennen Adesso, who was arrested at about 6:19 p.m. on June 12. Adesso was transported to the Lane County Jail and faces a disorderly conduct charge and no victims of potential menacing have come forward, police said…
