BOSTON — The Massachusetts State Lottery announced on Monday, June 15, that Steven Laprise of Templeton has won a $1 million grand prize in the Massachusetts State Lottery’s 4,000,000 Extreme Cash instant ticket game.
Laprise chose the cash option on his prize and received a one-time payment of $650,000 (before taxes). He said he plans to use his winnings towards purchasing a Jeep Cherokee and plans on picking it up this week.
He purchased his winning ticket at Cumberland Farms, 163 Patriots St. in East Templeton. The store will receive a $10,000 bonus for its sale of this ticket…
