Old West End residents discuss safety concerns at community meeting following festival shooting

TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) – The Old West End Neighborhood Association held a community meeting Tuesday night that drew a nearly standing-room-only crowd as residents discussed the June 6 shooting at the Old West End Festival.

Residents spoke about their experiences and proposed ways to move forward after the shooting on Delaware and Glenwood that injured 12 people.

“This is the attitude of young people right now that they have to show their aggression by harming someone else. And if you’re in a way, you just collateral damage and they don’t care,” said Debra Sue.
