COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) – Tuesday morning, staff at the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at St. Francis Hospital celebrated the 16th birthday of one of their former patients.
Jaden Boncler was born prematurely and spent nearly six months in the NICU in 2010, and this year, for his 16th birthday, Boncler wanted to come back and meet the team that saved his life.
