The University of Oregon campus area will bid farewell to a mainstay pizza provider. Pegasus Pizza has closed its first location, effective immediately.
According to Owner Lori Reader, the location at 790 E. 14th Ave. has been home to decades of tossing dough, melting cheese and sharing countless memories.
“We have three locations but this is the first one and frankly, the one location that is dearest to my heart,” Reader said. “We have tried to hold on through the pandemic and economic uncertainties that have followed, but alas, we must just say ‘enough.’”…
