Amazon is planning a new delivery station in Chattanooga’s Lookout Valley area that is expected to create more than 300 jobs and could provide a more convenient employment option for some residents of Marion, Sequatchie, and counties to the west of the Scenic City.
The company announced plans to develop a roughly 200,000-square-foot delivery station at 3400 Cummings Road in Lookout Valley. The facility is expected to begin operations in 2028 and will support package processing and last-mile delivery services throughout Southeast Tennessee.
For workers in communities such as Jasper, Whitwell, Dunlap, South Pittsburg and surrounding areas including Grundy County and Northeast Alabama, the Lookout Valley location could offer a shorter and more direct commute than Amazon’s existing fulfillment center at Enterprise South near Ooltewah, located on the opposite side of the Chattanooga metro area…
