EVANSVILLE, Ind (WEHT) – An Evansville man is facing charges after he allegedly threatened a gas station employee and tried to grab for multiple weapons during arrest.
According to an affidavit, Evansville Police officers were called to the 700 block of SE Eighth Street for an assault in progress.
The victim claimed William Choate came in through the back door, demanding he be able to take socks and some other items from the back of the store. After being told to leave, Choate eventually left but returned with a weapon, which was perceived to be a handgun to the employee…
