CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG) – A Cedar Rapids woman has been sentenced to 16 years in prison after pleading guilty to a wrong-way crash that killed a man in 2024.
Court documents say Katie Austin-Karkow was sentenced Tuesday to 10 years for vehicular homicide, five years for reckless driving causing serious injury, and one year for operating under the influence.
