One person flown to trauma center following serious Edgewood crash

EDGEWOOD, MD—A serious motor vehicle collision on Wednesday afternoon shut down a major highway in Harford County and left one adult hospitalized with critical injuries, emergency officials said.

The crash occurred at around 4 p.m. on eastbound Pulaski Highway (Route 40) near West Shore Drive in Edgewood.

First responders from the Joppa-Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company and the Abingdon Fire Company arrived to find a scene that required rapid medical intervention.
