CINCINNATI (WXIX) – A Cincinnati cemetery, one of Ohio’s oldest for Black Americans, secured new funding to preserve and honor its legacy.
Some of the people buried here at the United Colored American Cemetery in Madisonville date back to the 19th century, and Thursday, money was donated to make sure their stories are never forgotten.
