(KRON) — An elderly man who was struck and killed by a car as he walked across a road in Fairfax Tuesday evening has been identified.
The Marin County Sheriff’s Office identified the man as George Pikkarainen, 91, of Fairfax.
The collision occurred around 6:45 p.m. on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard, east of Shadow Creek Court.
