SYRACUSE, N.Y. — An early morning 911 call led the Syracuse Fire Department to a home in the 200 block of Onondaga Avenue.
The Syracuse Fire Department tells CNY Central a little after 8:00 a.m., crews arrived to the home and found a three-story residential building with smoke coming from the front entrance.
Firefighters entered the building to investigate and encountered heavy smoke conditions on the upper floors. The fire was soon located in a second-floor apartment, and a Signal “99” was transmitted, indicating a working fire…
