PELAHATCHIE — A portion of Red Oak Road near Fleming Road in the Pelahatchie area has been closed because of high water, according to the Rankin County Sheriff’s Office.
Authorities said barricades are being placed in flood-prone areas to prevent motorists from driving through water-covered roadways.
