MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) – The Memphis Police Department is investigating after a car collided with a train early Friday morning.
A little after midnight, officers responded to a crash at Chiswood Street and Raleigh Lagrange Road.
When officers arrived, they spoke with a railroad agent and a train conductor who informed them that their train was traveling westbound when the conductor noticed a car attempting to race across the tracks to beat the train…
