Poll worker shortage: Here are the Tennessee counties that need help

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – The state of Tennessee needs more poll workers, according to Tennessee Secretary of State Tre Hargett.

Hargett said 35 out of Tennessee’s 95 counties are in need of poll workers.

West Tennessee:

  • Hardin
  • Haywood
  • Henderson
  • Lauderdale
  • McNairy
  • Shelby

Middle Tennessee:

  • Bedford
  • Cheatham
  • Davidson
  • Houston
  • Humphreys
  • Lewis
  • Moore
  • Pickett
  • Putnam
  • Robertson
  • Smith
  • Stewart

Southeast Tennessee:

  • Bledsoe
  • Marion
