Texas Woman Receives Deferred Judgment in Warren County Vehicle Theft Case

A Texas woman has received a deferred judgment after pleading guilty to a reduced felony theft charge stemming from the possession of a stolen vehicle in Warren County.

According to court records, 50-year-old Angela Marie Carr pleaded guilty on Monday, June 15th, to Second Degree Theft involving a motor vehicle, a Class D felony. The charge was reduced from an original First Degree Theft charge as part of court proceedings.

The case originated from a May 9th traffic stop in Indianola after a Warren County Sheriff’s deputy received a FLOCK camera alert for a stolen black Lincoln Mark LT pickup with Texas temporary registration. Authorities located the vehicle traveling on Jefferson Way and confirmed both the truck and registration had been reported stolen out of Texas before taking Carr into custody…
