High pressure eases, bringing a comfortable weekend forecast to Kern County

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — A comfortable weekend is forecast for Kern County as the big hot high is taking a break, for a short while!

Afternoon highs may spend much of the day in the mid to upper 80s across the South Valley, the mid 70s in the mountains, the mid to upper 80s in the Kern River Valley and the low 90s across the Antelope and Indian Wells Valleys.

Window friendly readings should be with everyone during the overnights with lows in the 50s and 60s areawide. Some of the mountain spots could wake up to 40s, so that rare crisp early morning air for late June will be a welcome change…
