SEYMOUR, Wis. (WFRV) – Home of the Hamburger is celebrating their 36th annual Burger Fest in honor of the birth of the burger in Seymour.
According to organizers, Burger Fest will be an all-day event held on Saturday, September 19 on Depot Street, near the Hamburger Charlie Statue in downtown Seymour.
Thousands raised for Old Glory Honor Flights
This year’s event is expected to even bigger and more community-focused than years prior. Guests can expect an expansion of vendors and local businesses, a harvest-style farmers’ market, pumpkins and fall-themed family activities, bobbing for apples, live music, and expanded beer selections from Wisconsin breweries on site.
But, sticking with tradition, and centering the meaty classic, Burger Fest will also feature a Bun Run—for adults and kids—a car show, the world’s largest hamburger parade, a burger eating contest, the serving of the “Giant Hamburger,” and their famous giant ketchup slide…
