1 hospitalized, 1 detained in North Charleston Church’s Chicken shooting

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) — The North Charleston Police Department is investigating a shooting that sent a man to the hospital.

Police spokesperson Harve Jacobs says officers were called to the Church’s Chicken on the 5300 block of Dorchester Road around 6:30 a.m. Monday following reports of a potential shooting.

At the scene, police reportedly found a man in the parking lot. He was next to a vehicle and was suffering from gunshot wounds.
