AUSTIN, Texas — A man was shot in the leg early Friday morning after a verbal altercation at an East Austin apartment complex, police said.
The shooting occurred at approximately 2:51 a.m. in the parking lot of an apartment complex in the 5700 block of Manor Road, according to the Austin Police Department.
The victim made his way to an after-hours care clinic in the 3300 block of Manor Road, where a security guard applied a tourniquet before officers and Austin-Travis County Emergency Medical Services arrived. He was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries…
