Flood warnings have been extended for the English River in Kalona and the Iowa River at Marengo.
A flood warning issued by the National Weather Service for the English River at Kalona states that as of Monday water was at 15.4 feet. Flood stage is 14 feet. At 14 feet, agricultural land along the river begins to flood. The river is expected to fall to 6.7 feet by next Monday.
