Here’s a reminder to adhere to the old saying “turn around, don’t drown.” Remembering those four words could be the difference between life and death during flash flooding.
I’ve always felt that way too many people underestimate just how dangerous flooding is. Hell, I’ll go ahead and admit to being guilty of it right here in front of God and everybody. Well, I did once, anyway. Luckily, I was able to steer clear of flooding on the roadway during a heavy downpour and promised myself I would never let it happen again.
