Oregon broadcasters honor KEZI anchor Renee McCullough

EUGENE, Ore. – KEZI 9 News’ former anchor Renee McCullough received the 2025 Outstanding Service to the Oregon Broadcast Industry Award from the Oregon Association of Broadcasters.

McCullough suffered two strokes in August 2024 and underwent surgery. Her recovery was remarkable, but she made the difficult decision to retire after 25 years as a co-anchor at KEZI.

The award honors a person who has distinguished themselves in service to their community on behalf of the broadcast industry. McCullough anchored at KEZI for years and mentored young reporters and producers in the newsroom. She taught them what journalism is all about and what it’s not…
