WADSWORTH, Ohio (WJW) – A 3-year-old was taken to the hospital after investigators said the child was hit by a vehicle during a parade in Wadsworth on Tuesday evening.
According to the Wadsworth Police Department, the incident happened around 6:40 p.m. on Broad Street, near Auble Street, during the Blue Tip Parade.
Investigators said the driver of a “modified ride-on minicar” lost control while doing a stunt and went off the roadway, hitting a 3-year-old who was watching parade on the lawn.
