SPRINGFIELD, Ore. — At Monday’s special Springfield city council meeting, the council rejected a request for proposal issued by the city’s public works division for the City Hall remodeling project.
Mayor Sean VanGordon, in explaining the decision, said the council wants to get a better understanding of local construction companies’ concerns over how the contract for the project will be awarded.
