From Canada to the U.S., owners of a donut brand are making their Detroit debut this year.
Homies Donuts is on the way to 23780 Michigan Avenue in Dearborn, confirmed by recent social media posts from the company. The team is also planning many other locations throughout the state, most in Southeast Michigan. Owner of the location Hassan Medlej told What Now Detroit the team is opening the Dearborn spot at the end of July or beginning of August, pending inspections.
While a menu hasn’t been released, dessert creations are being teased at the window, along with “pizza donuts.” Donut staples will also be served like chocolate, cream-filled and sprinkled options. At their Canada locations, the team puts ice cream scoops on top of the doughnuts…
