The Orange County Health Department recently released this year’s State of the County Health Report, monitoring various metrics that affect the overall health and wellbeing of Orange County residents. (Little change from two years ago, but county officials say they’re concerned by the local impact of national trends, including cuts to SNAP food benefits as well as strict immigration enforcement – which has left many residents, documented and undocumented alike, skipping doctor’s appointments out of fear.)
